Programs We Can Verify
This page lists only programs we could verify on official sources at build time. Program terms change; always confirm current eligibility on the official page before counting on a credit.
Federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit
The IRS Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit covers a percentage of qualifying home energy improvements, and electrical panel upgrades can qualify when they are installed in connection with qualifying energy equipment and meet the credit's requirements and caps. Read the current rules on the IRS credit page and keep your invoices and manufacturer certifications for your tax records. We are electricians, not tax advisors; your tax professional confirms your eligibility.
Federal Residential Clean Energy Credit
Homeowners installing qualifying clean energy systems such as solar or battery storage may be eligible for the Residential Clean Energy Credit. Details and current percentages are on the IRS Residential Clean Energy Credit page.
TVA EnergyRight and Springfield Electric
Springfield's electricity comes through the Springfield Electric Department as a TVA distributor. TVA's EnergyRight residential programs periodically offer incentives and financing pathways for energy upgrades such as heat pumps, which often involve electrical work. Springfield Electric also offers a meter socket surge arrester program for residential customers; ask the department about the current service fee and terms at (615) 384-6770.
How to Use This Page
Planning a panel upgrade, heat pump circuit or EV charger? Mention incentives when you call. We will scope the electrical work so the documentation you need for a credit application is generated as part of the job.
